It’s that time of year again! October is SOCKtober here at École Edwards and around the world.
Socks are in style year-round. But October is extra special! SOCKtober is a time for reaching out to those in need starting from the feet up!
One of the most requested items at homeless shelters is, you guessed it, socks! Who knew such a small thing could make a huge difference? And with winter and the holidays coming, it's especially important for us to do what we can to keep hearts and feet warm.
During the month of October, École Edwards is collecting NEW socks – whatever size, style or type! At the end of the month, they will be donated to help those in need.
This year our goal is to collect AS MANY pairs of NEW socks as possible. Did you know that last year we collected 2367 pairs of NEW socks (and some other wonderful items) and made a HUGE difference to two different amazing community services!
